RAD BALLET PROGRAM
Allegro Dance School offers an extensive ballet program for aspiring dancers from age 5 and up.
We are proud to be one of the dance schools in York region that is certified by the Royal Academy of Dance, London, England.
All classes are taught under the guidance of director Fanny Ko, who is a Dual Examiner of Royal Academy of Dance.

Our ballet students participate in the prestigious and globally recognized R.A.D. Grade and Vocational Examinations each year. It provides an opportunity for dancers to attain their personal best and have fun. It gives them a goal to work towards and a sense of achievement after taking the exam. It is designed to recognize the progress and achievement of students of all ages and levels of ability.
GRADED & VOCATIONAL SYLLABUS
The Graded syllabus includes Pre-Primary in Dance, Primary in Dance and Grade 1 through 8. They provide a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills.

Vocational Graded syllabus includes Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2 and Solo Seal Award. The aim of the Solo Seal Award is to provide candidates with an opportunity to achieve at a high level and be assessed on variations performed in front of an audience. Vocational exams provide an in-depth study of ballet and prepare students for a career in dance.
