Amy Yeung is a movement artist, researcher, and educator based in Toronto, Canada. From a young age, Amy has trained in Western dance styles, specializing in contemporary, ballet, jazz, and acrobatics. She is also trained in Chinese martial arts, combining Eastern and Western movement styles in her most recent works including Zoe Kwan's Carnival of the Arts (2023), Eternal Echoes (2024) & Fractals of Possibilities (2026), and Marisa Ricci's Colony Collapse at Festival Quartiers Danses (2023). Amy made her choreographic debut with her self-performed piece, A Human Specimen, which was awarded First Place and the Limitless Artistry Award in the Breaking Boundaries Movement Choreography Competition.

Amy is a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certified coach and has several years of experience in dance and martial arts instruction. She will be pursuing her Master’s degree at York University focusing on positive youth development in dance education.
