Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.)
Established in the United Kingdom in 1920 to improve dance standards and augment dance training, the Royal Academy of Dance is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organizations in the world. Their mission is to support the advancement of dance through promoting the knowledge, understanding and practice of dance internationally. To date, there are over 1000 students in teacher training programs and the examination syllabus is taught to more than a quarter of a million students worldwide.
Our director Ms Fanny Ko is one of the RAD Ballet Examiner. We are located at Thornhill, Richmond Hill aera.

What are the benefits of participating in an exam?
Students who participate in exams or presentations are learning important life skills such as goal setting, goal achievement, self confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. In addition, they will benefit from increased knowledge and skill level.

What added time commitments involved with exams?

 Vocational  4.5 to 6 Hours + summer

Private Training
Some students require or prefer further training beyond the extra exam classes. Private sessions can be arranged with the instructor, usually within the month prior to the exam date. Semi privates up to a maximum of 3 students can also be arranged.

What are the added costs of taking exams?
The added costs include the cost of the exam itself, the cost of mandatory extra practices, and the cost of the pianist. Exam students must also have appropriate attire in good condition, as outlined in our studio dress code.
