DANCE CAMPS

JOIN THE FUN AT CAMP ALLEGRO!

Participating in dance camp is not only a super fun experience but a great way to learn new styles of dance, unleash your creative energy and make new friends! We offer dance camps during all of the school breaks; PA Day, Winter, March and Summer holidays.

No experience is needed for Dance Camp - open to everyone aged 4-12! 

Camp programming  includes at least 4 dance classes per day (ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro and/or musical theatre), dance games, student choreography, musical and theatrical play, imaginative improvisations and whatever else we dream up with each group!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Campers are asked to dress in comfortable gym clothes and bring a water and peanut/tree nut free lunch and snacks. 

  • Weekly performances by students for family and friends (March & Summer Camp)

  • Welcoming inclusive environment

  • Experienced professional teachers

  • Participants grouped according to age and/or ability

  • 5 – 7 different performance routines per week

  • Late pickup available. (Supervision includes non-programmed activity time with games and books available.)

  • All campers are supervised over lunch

CHECKLIST OF WHAT TO BRING

  • Signed registration form

  • Snacks and lunch – nut free

  • All personal items labeled with names on it

  • Dressed in easy to move clothing (no jeans)

  • Dance shoes recommended (jazz, ballet, tap), however, barefeet and socks are allowed. 

  • Pack any medical supplies with instructions

  • Every child must be check in at the front desk at the beginning of the day. If someone different is picking them up please let our front desk staff know.

DROP OFF & PICK UP

Drop off time is 20 minutes prior to the start of camp; and campers must be picked up within 10 minutes after the end of camp. Late pickup is available at an additional charge, registration must be made at the start of the day. If you are unable to pick up your child(ren) at the scheduled time, please call us at 905-889-9799. A late pickup fee will apply If parent is not here within 10 minutes of the scheduled pickup time.

FEES & POLICY

  • All registration forms must be signed in order to be eligible to take part in classes.

  • Fees are due at the time of registration.

  • Camp fees are non-refundable but cancellations made 1 week prior to camps may be eligible to transfer to another week within the same dance season.

  • Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of camp.

  • A $25 fee is charged on all NSF and returned cheques.

 

*All fees include a 3% discount for payment made in cash, debit, cheque or e-transfer.
